This is what I did in sacrament meeting today: I wrote haikus.
I saw God today
In the sun that blinded me
And in your bright eyes.
You will never know.
It doesn't penetrate your mind.
My heart knew it though.
Cool wind moves my hair.
I swerve to dodge a pothole.
The buzz of the motor.
Jesus came and died,
His once kind face, tear-soaked, dark.
He reigns glorified.
The bright citrĂ³n shoe,
Five tall inches to zero,
Sculpts a woman's calf.

I will be the first to buy your book of haikus.
